While guests love our cozy charm, we operate with the pace, complexity, and professionalism of a full-service restaurant. Position Overview

The Dining Room Manager reports to the Assistant General Manager and holds primary responsibility for managing the dining room floor and the reservation desk. This person will champion service excellence on every shift — ensuring smooth, polished service in a cozy and friendly environment. You will uphold and strengthen our fine-dining service standards, lead and coach our servers, hosts, and bussers, and manage FOH scheduling to a labor budget.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings poise and professionalism to every interaction, and loves creating meaningful experiences for both guests and staff.

  • Uphold and refine fine-dining service standards tailored to our cozy tea room environment.

  • Coach and mentor FOH team members in hospitality, service flow, and technical service skills.

  • Train and guide bussers to maintain quiet, efficient table clearing and resetting.

  • Support guest recovery with professionalism and genuine care

Scheduling & Labor Management

  • Create and manage server, host, and busser schedules to meet budgeted labor goals.

  • Adjust staffing in real time based on volume, reservations, and business trends.

Reservations & Guest Flow

  • Oversee the reservation desk and waitlist management, ensuring smooth table turns and timely, organized seating throughout each shift.

  • Manage bussers and support a coordinated, efficient table-reset process to keep the dining room flowing seamlessly during busy periods.

Daily Operations

  • Manage opening and closing procedures for the dining room.

  • Support cash handling, reporting, and FOH operational checklists.

  • Collaborate with the AGM and GM on service improvements, training initiatives, and performance feedback.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of FOH leadership experience, preferably in a fine-dining or polished-casual environment.

  • Deep understanding of service etiquette, guest communication, and elevated hospitality.

  • Strong situational awareness and the ability to lead a team during high-volume service.

  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, confident presence.

  • Experience with staff scheduling and managing to labor budgets.

  • Hands-on, team-first attitude — you’re the kind of leader who jumps in where needed.

  • Familiarity with Toast, Resy, and 7shifts a plus.

  • ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
